Location: Eastern Ontario | I'm in Canada so possibly the company I use would not work for you. What I will say is watch for lay up restrictions if you fish late or early in the year. The first year I was with my current company I was unaware my boat was supposed to be laid up Nov 30. When I renewed this year I noticed and said I needed to be able to fish till season end Dec 15 their answer was no exceptions. I phoned a couple of friends who were with the same company and fish till the end of the season and advised them to check their policy where they discovered they were not covered. I found another company where the same basic coverage was $125 more PLUS 5% for the month of December so that would cost me $155 extra for 2 weeks. What ever you get read the policy. I was also advised to use a marine insurer rather than attaching to a household policy. Edited by horsehunter 3/14/2018 7:04 PM | ||
