Posts: 202 Location: Angola, IN | Just got off the phone with my fishing partner for the week of the trip (JohnMD). Everytime I talking muskies while at work....my brain freezes and I can't concentrate on work, and instead, my mind races with potential fish that I'll be laying some hooks into in a few weeks on LOTW. I hope the Jackpot bite is still hot up there. I can't wait. I haven't been fishing for a month. This trip will cure that. I look forward to hanging out with everyone that is going. This will be sweet.

Posts: 285 | Hi Mr Hulbert, Ranger said I should bring along lots of CDs. I'm also thinking I'll be bringing the guitar. I have lots of live Dead, Panic, other bootleg music, and bluegrass Jerry. Look forward to meeting you, and you also get a grab at some Ranger-handmade tackle (funny stories included...). Later, Papa Joe

Location: Athens, Ohio | Papa J, I was thinking about bringing my git-fiddle too, but wondered: when would I break from fishing to fool with it? Got so much stuff to take anyway that I'd prolly have to invest in one of those Martin backpackers. Please bring a cd player, too. see ya soon, m

Posts: 202 Location: Angola, IN | Rich, Just because it's a new moon and you're on the Mighty Ottawa, doesn't mean that you're gonna nail a bunch of fatties. I remember fishing the Ottawa for 4 days, with days on each side of a October Full Moon.....which should be a killer time for a fattie, but instead, I got a bunch of these. Just messin' with ya Rich. But you do owe me a 50" When I get back from LOTW, we'll post pics of our two biggest fish during that week, and we'll see who's on top. I'm sure you're gonna smear me.....but I like trash talkin. Posts: 1430 Location: Eastern Ontario | Steve did I tell you that you got there a day late. You're one unlucky sob but you and your dad still got 7 fish for your efforts ( man was it ever ugly especialy your last day, I remember the 4 to 5 foot rollers ) but for some reason you scared the BigO monsters. I am guiding a familly for 4 days that week so I need to keep my near perfect record going, you sure know that you are the near. LOL BTW Steve it was the new moon not the fullmoon. I wish you the best on the big LOTW and nail a fatty or two. For others to see, this is the fish that was caught some 1 hour or so before Steve arrived or 1:30 pm the day before his trip started.
