Location: South Portsmouth, KY | Whats up guys. I am wanting to know because mine always breaks, What is the best and strongest knot that i can tie to my reel spool. I just know that one of these days i will get a big muskie on and it will stip all of my line and break my spool knot. Thanks for all of the information. |

Location: Holly, MI | Are you using a small capacity reel? How much line are you putting on your reel? Is it too light of line that you cant use the drag effectivly? I put maybe 50 yds of 20 lb mono on for backer then about 100 yds of 65 lb power pro. Maybe I should ask how far can you cast? I have never come close to seeing my backing and I would trust my blood knot there if need be. |

Location: Kalamazoo, MI | If I ever hook into something big enough to run 100 yards of 65lb power pro off my reel against my drag and get to my backing, my captain better have the outboard fired up and be ready to chase it down! |
