Location: Hayward, WI | No kidding! Has Wissota gotten that tough? This time of year was always fairly productive out there for me, but I bet I haven't fished it in 6 or 7 years. Used to be pretty fair numbers of fish out there.
Will be interesting to see how the tournament goes. |

| I was told by a muskie inc. gentleman that the lake association sprayed for milfoil back in 2012 and that killed a bunch of the natural vegetation but it is slowly coming back. He said he has had a tough time since than. |

Location: West Central WI | Six boated on the first day with none 40 or over. One tiger and no Leechers. The first five caught in the first couple hours. Water running 67-68 deg so that may be what's slowing down the fish for the tournament and others. Would be nice if we were in the low 60's. Several reported seeing fish but no hookups. All the good spots being pounded multiple times. Maybe Sunday will bring a similar number of fish early so somebody will break out from the pack or someone will catch a bigger fish. With six people catching only one fish, the Ranger boat is up for grabs tomorrow. |
