Anyone order reels from japan tackle lately?
If yes, do you get hit with import duties/taxes when it hits the states?
How much do the taxes run, if any?

I did not pay any duties, ordered a conquest recently and only cost above reel was $20 shipping

No issue with Japan tackle, the service and shipping is great. You will probably get the reel quicker from them than R&H even if you live in WI.

Do reels bought from Japan Tackle come with warranties that are honored in the US?

Just ordered a reel from japan tackle. While I'm all for supporting local business even if they are a few bucks more, no problem. But a $100 + less, I'd be stupid not to buy where it's less. And Chemi, I asked about warranty and they do have a US service center Should one need it.
