Location: Illinois | Ice went off a few days ago. Water temp 38 to start yesterday on Channel and it was 46 when I left today. Fished 2 days without a sniff. A lot of fish in the channels and in front staging. The water is LOW. Be cautious in the channels. Some of the better crappie areas are dry. |

| Why is the Chain so low? I believe it is going to change the fishing this year a bit, all the spots are 2-3 foot shallower. |

| The river by me(between Algonquin and McHenry Dams) is also extremely low. Cant find weeds or fish in spots that normally hold. |
