Just interested on how thick the ice is on Vermilion?
Looks like it could be a lot earlier ice out, than the last couple of years!

Couple feet of ice still on the lakes up here. Pretty shady though. Walking out is safe but vehicle travel is done for the most part. Cold weather this week too.

Still a lot ice on V. around 30"... It was 7* on the lake this morning.

Trucks still driving on lake Bemidji today... Pushing 30" of ice, but it's getting honeycombed.

I was out near Park Rapids this weekend. We had to find a spot to get onto the ice but there was 30+ on the main lake....
