Posts: 1158 | Kirby Budrow - 5/23/2012 9:29 PM What I can't figure out is why married guys need to get permission to go fishing? I ain't married so I can't relate but if I wanna fish I fish!!! Maybe my lack of understanding is why I am still single? Maybe man is just born to lose I wouldn't say I ask as much as I tell but I do seek approval most of the time. If you want to have a successful relationship you can't just do whatever you want ALL the time. Some degree of respect involved.

![]() | You can either be right or happy, can't have both. That is awesome. Yeah my hulk can get pretty bad. shes a 4'10 barrel of gas that you don't wanna ignite. Yeah its just being respectful because if she said hey can I go shopping with whoever i wouldn't care at all ever, but its nice that she respects you enough to ask, and that's why we respect them and ask. Because I know I sure don't want her telling me she's doing something without talking to me about it. Just make both parties happy.

Posts: 269 Location: brooklyn park mn | I was married for 9 years and as long the wife isn't being passive aggressive about you going on the trips then you should be fine. I had the house cleaned out after I came home from a week trip to eagle lake with a note saying this isn't gonna work. Didn't even leave me utensils lol.. now divorced and found girl who loves fishing and understands that I want a woman to share my life with her and not control it. I set the bar for every girl after my ex that I try to go on one trip a year because its who I am and they need to accept me for who I am. A lot of give and take. Now I don't have to ask or beg cause she going with me. I don't bring her with I'm in trouble lol.. sounds like you will be fine cause she seems like a good fit. The sex or fishing question at 5am is great option as posted earlier lmfao. Congrats on the wedding.

![]() | Needless to say the wedding went good, food was good, beer was cold, and she even said I could go out fishing this week sometime which was cool.

![]() | We wrote our own vows and I'm serious when I say this, this was in her vows: "I promise to be there for you, no matter what happens, even when you come home upset from standing in the boat for 10 hours and not catch a Muskie" what an awesome woman.
