First week of April and here I sit with a generator running in the background (major ice storm knocked out the power). Hey, it makes enough power for furnace and the puter. The first saturday in June is the Musky opener here in Michigan on Lake St Clair. I've already been steelhead fishing 4 times and am quickly burning up favors so I had better save some for Muskie hunting trips. I have re-read my musky hunter and esox angler magizines. Read Tony Rizzo's book. Lookin' for somthing online or in print to help me make it to June.

Any good reading meterial (musky stuff, guys)recomendations would be appriciated by me and maybe others. Thanks for any help -lobi

Have you absorbed all the articles onsite here, and the archived chats? Good information for sure, and some pretty interesting stuff.

Also, if you are interested in a particular subject, type that into the search bar, and see what threads cover that subject. 60000 plus posts will provide some reading for certain.

If you fish Canada at all, you must read Muskies on the Shield by Dick Pearson. Even if you don't, I would recommend it. It's a fast and easy read but full of info.

Try to Milwaukee Muskies Inc. Chapter web site. I don't know the exact web address. They have articles on all the seminar speakers they have had over the years. Some great advise by some good sticks.

Good luck, Murph

I really like Saric and Heiting's book, The Complete Guide to Muskie Hunting. Muskie Maina Style is also a really good book. Also, before the opener this year I went though all my Musky Hunters and Esox Anglers looking for something that could give me an edge. Of course this site is always good too.
