I checked Hatteras Outfitters and couldn't find the 6600 Rocket but I'm sure it's similar to the 6500's I saw. Smoothies are an improvement over stock drags as are double bearing levelwinds and the rest of the extra candy. I think it would be a good choice for just about anything short of "reeling in the years"

Never heard the of the model "Rocket" but I have several red Abu Garcia reels (5601CB and 6601CB) if that is what you are referring to. I have 3+ years on them without a problem.

| Thanks dudes...saw 1 in Waldo Mart; seems it has gold sided plates for 79.00. Hatteras Outfitters is only a couple hours from here, and I've been meaning to get down there; they can for sure fix up a primo reel! We need Dr Karl NOW, although water will allow me to unfold and expand...:O |
