Finally nailed my first ski of the year, first in IL and first in my boat! So glad to get the monkey off my back!

Ha I thought about an Apocalypse, but figured If you know the spot already theres no point in hiding it from people that already fish it. We also had one small fish to the boat but got off before we could get it in the net, one fast follow but turned off in a hurry when it saw the boat and a good hit that got off in the weeds before we saw it.

Thanks guys! I took a lot of time to find them but I did. Should be a good year if this keeps up. One of the follows came in low and slow and was upper 40s for sure. He just wasnt interested in the 8 and turned off when he saw the boat. Almost almost makes me want to stay here instead of go up to Vilas for vacation in Aug.
