Just wondering what the best way to cut lexan is. I know a lot of guys have them cut with water, but I'm just looking to do a few at home. Was thinking a jig saw with a fine tooth blade. Thanks.

Yea, it can be kind of a pain. Jigsaw with a plexiglass blade or a scroll saw has worked for me. Then use belt sander or a file to finish.

What style lips are you using?? Rounded ones or the square type? I cut mine on a table saw and use a fine toothed plywood blade. Use extreme caution but it does a great job and no sanding. I made a jig to hold the pieces to cut the back slanted edges. I can post a picture if your interested. Ken

Yeah, if you don't mind putting the pic up that'd be great. I figured I'd just start with square lips since it'll be easier than the rounded.

straight edge and scar it with something sharp then it will snap where you make the marks.then sand your edges!lowes sells the scaring tool,not expensive.
