| What do you use to protect your boat??
Looking for recommendations to protect my rig when traveling on gravel roads. Types/Styles, where to buy, rental options??

Location: Minnesota | I bought a new boat last year had these put on before I even brought it home "Montana Rock Knockers" not cheap but I would buy them again

Location: Kodiak, AK | After seeing a store-bought version, I made my own and it works great. Piece of angle iron, u-bolt, couple of RV whisker-type guards off ebay, and I had one I bolted together for $110. |

Location: West of the metro, MN | I welded a chunk of stainless steel angle iron on the receiver for a little class and then bolted on semi trailer mudflaps length-wise. Looks redneck but work great |

I'd do both of these. Even with the mudflaps, I got some dings in the front of the hull. |
