| This Reel looks to be the opposite of a winch reel. This is a C4 model which is a high speed 6/1 ratio and not a 4/1 winch ratio isn't it? |

Location: Green Bay, WI | Well the reel does say "Winch" on it (right in front of the word "5600 C4" on the case), so my guess is that it is indeed a winch reel. Also, the case says that the gear ratio is 3.8:1.
I used this reel several times back when I still used to cast, and I can tell you that it pulls a Depth Raider through the water pretty much like it wasn't even there. So I'd definitely consider it to be a "winch" in that sense.

Location: Mt. Zion, IL | The C4 Winch is 3.8:1 and picks up 17" per turn of the crank. This reel was made around 2001-2007. They are great reels for hard pulling baits. |

The Grunt lure is still available.
