| Tighten clip fully and use half hitch in your mainline round one jaw of clip, alternatively fit the clips facing the boards not outwards. Both methods you gonna have to remove the board on the way in, don't go down your line better like that anyways  | |||

Posts: 109 Location: Pewaukee, WI | The yellow offshore boards work nice but will not pull out much with hard pulling baits. Offshore also makes a Stripper/Salmon board and that works better. The best board that I found that will pull out to the side with hard pulling baits is the large Yellow Bird, but I did not like the Yellow Bird clips so I would use a large split ring and electrical tape and attach the Offshore OR-18 clip.
