| Coming from Minnesota I will be spending an extended amount of time around the Barnes area for work in early June. Naturally I will have my boat in tow. I am thinking of starting on Middle Eau Claire due to ease of getting on the water quick and easy, unless someone can point me elsewhere. From what I am hearing it's a night bite or under cloud cover? If anyone could inform me the main forage base that would be excellent so I can come prepared with similar baits. Any other tips would be nice as I am not familiar with the waters. Also from what I gathered it is legal to troll?
Thanks |

Location: Illinois | Tough lake with trophy potential. Gin clear. Let us know if you figure a hot pattern/tactic, wont you? |

| I will let you know if I make any discoveries, hopefully there are discoveries to be made. I am not expecting any secrets, I would just like to know if it is a Tullibee based lake. It looks as though Upper could support good Tullibee but not so much as the chain goes down. This may be a stupid question but I am not from the area and I can't find any lake survey data like MNDNR has. |

Location: Hayward, WI | Trolling is allowed. Very clear water. All three main lakes have cisco in them. "Small Pond Monsters" would be a good DVD to watch to get some tatctics to try. |

Here is a decent lake map.
Have you been out at all? Any action? |

Location: WI | I've heard Upper has the most ciscos. I fished Middle once (trolled for 6 hours in early Nov) with no success. |
