Location: New Hope MN | I made some new large spinner baits and found that when I troll them around 4mph they troll on their side for about 2 seconds and then rotate quickly to the other side and pause for 2 seconds. I’m wondering is this a good thing. Maybe a good trigger? When casted and retrieved at a normal pace they track upright. When I burn them in they come in sideways, but do not have the back and forth like when trolled.
Thoughts?

Location: Ontario | Take the top arm, cut off the swivel and re-loop it, reattach the blade. The upper arm is now shorter. Then take the top arm and squash in down, closing the gap in the V of the bait. A smaller blade will help even further. Adding a large, heavy trailer hook like a 9/0 single will help keep the lure flat too. |

| Just buy one of these... then you won't have to worry about it. More time for the bait to be in the water, where it should be.
