Jeez, Its getting tiring with all the trailer tire threads (pun intended) just search all post's for "trailer tires". Like batteries or reels or lures or rods or boats or lakes or trolling motors or sonar's or virtually anything associated with this sport..........every muskie fisherman has an opinion, whether its right or wrong!

Here's an unbiased discussion about trailer tire's. I hope it helps some of you sort it out.

Have fun!

Does 'unbiased' mean it's probably a radial?

I saw on mythbusters the other day where they used a manhole cover to use as a spare tire on a car.. I decided they'd be better than goodyear runflats... They are now on my boat trailer, but man...were they hard to balance!!

Sorernson... AWESOME!!! just AWESOME!! that was a classic!!

If the tire was new I would have asked for a different one. Or had them check the rim without the tire on it. A trailer tire should be no more difficult to balance than an auto tire.
