The connector is different. But if you want to try you could pry cut the connectors off and switch them???(don't know if it is possible or not)

I would not try it. I hate the new pedal compared to the old version. I don't know how you are supposed to operate it with a size 14 boot. In addition, I go through one of the v2 pedal every year, while my old one was still working at 7 years. In fact, I have called MinnKota about adapting the v2 motor to use the old pedal.

Sorry for you luck with me it was the complete opposite the old pedal went out every couple of months. Had the v2 pedal for 3 yrs on the same pedal. And I would think that minnkota changed to the v2 for a reason.

I've had my V2 for 3 years and I'm on the 3rd pedal also, bought a spare couple weeks ago so I dont screw up a good day/weekend on the water with a bad pedal.

well i guess I'll keep the old pedal then. Motor is a 2004 model and I have never replaced the pedal. Just like the steering being on the very bottom of the v2 kinda like the terova.

It's not really what you asked, but another option is to get a co-pilot and get rid of the pedal altogether. I keep a spare pedal in my boat, but I have not used it in the 4 years I've had the co-pilot.
