Hey... anyone fish here? Heading out to see my daughter this weekend at UWSP and would like to bring the boat.

Thanks,
Nick

Been trying for muskies all summer but have been having no luck, I would like to try and land my first one before winter comes does anyone have any suggestions on where to go around the point area.

Find current. Fishing the WI in Point is super easy.

Would you suggest above the dam?

It's easier to find current below the dams than above. But it's a wee bit harder to motor below some of the dams. Bring waders.

A good stretch to try would be around the Blue Heron landing. Take Hwy 10 west across bridge and take a left after the gas station. I think it might be called "west river drive"...lived there for 20+ years but can't remember. The landing is down a couple miles on your left. Topwaters, bucktails, and suckers work good down there. There are some rocks to hit so be careful.
