the zanders are in nice condition already,the pike's have not yet there wintercoat,the are working on it(hahahaha).

those are some nice fish,are zanders the same as walleye,just a different name.

are zanders the same as walleye,just a different name.


A zander is its own species (Sander lucioperca) that occupies European waters. Walleye (Sander vitreus) are restricted to North American waters. I believe zanders have larger max. sizes than walleye, too.

From the pictures Zander require that you consume Amstel Lights, while walleyes are not so picky. Any fine North American brewed beer will work.
