| Looking for a campground closer to my home zone. Usually stay at Trout, but hate the extra 30 minutes to get on the water.
Only place I could find is on the Michigan side of Cisco Chain in the Sylvania Wilderness area. I can't find enough info it. It is on Clark lake. Can you drive in? Any other info would be appreciated.
Thanks
Rob

| plenty of State Forest camping in that area:

there are also water-access only campsites (first come/first served) on many of the lakes in that area:

| Haven't been there in a while... But Palmer used to have state owned, free campsites that were accesible by boat only. I think High has some on lake sites as well.

Location: Waukesha & Land O Lakes, WI | Palmer has 5, one is in the Ontanogan. Tenderfoot doesn't have any. The big issue is one night camping, the DNR enforces it pretty regularly. |
