Location: Chicagoland | I've been out on here a few times but not for musky. I'm lost though. There is so much surface area, and I have no idea where to start. I'm also not the best with cloudy water, as often I rely on finding weedbeds with sight and then I start casting. I have a feeling by looking at the maps that catherine and marie lakes seem the most productive, does anyone know of any key locations or hot baits for the chain. Just got my first DCG and can't wait to throw it. Also picked up a shallow invader. Thanks guys.

Location: Des Moines IA | Go with your feeling from the maps. Stay in about 20 FOW, cast towards shore. There are a couple of really good spots on both Catherine, and Marie. Just look where everyone else is fishing, then try and cut your way in. |

Location: Lake Country, Wisconsin | Channel and Catherine will be a lot easier to learn then Marie, get on a good outside weed edge and start chucking |

Location: Chicagoland | Thanks guys. Would you suggest larger baits with a lot of action/vibration (DCG or Bulldawgs), or small speedy trigger baits such as musky killers and grandmas? |
