| I am going to be throwing the smaller Slammers alot this Spring. What leader do you use with this lure, as in material, weight, and length? |
| |
| Plain old 7 stranded leader works just fine.
Mine are around 60 puond test and 12 inch's long.

| Steve I use 50lbs flurocarbon leaders with snap-ease snaps and a good ball bearing swivel to start things out right. They are usually 12 inches in length for casting. Was using the 5 inch golden shiner last night and a 40 incher chased it all around the front of my boat but no go. Will get a picture of her tonight.[] |

| Mr. Worrall, you muskie god, I don't use leaders for my Slammers. My line is Berkley Ultra Max in 60 lb. test. I
use Berkley Cross-lock Ball Bearing Snap Swivels in 100 lb. test. |

| 208 lb single strand w/ no snap (split ring) and a 175 lb crane swivel. |
| |
| I use 7" long leaders made from .026 single strand with cross locks snaps and 50lb ball bearing swivels. |

| Steve,
I use .030 single strand wire, same hardware as Jason and I think mine are around 8-9" finished. I start with a piece of 10" wire and usually loose about 11/2" from eyes/twists.
Use this on smaller slammers, Jakes, Lil Ernies, baby depth raiders and smaller Bagleys.
