| I am planning for the 520c right now. I have seen pucks on one of those Shakespear antenna stands. Puck has 4 holes underneath. Has anyone used this method? How might I come by an adapter to make this work? If I do get a pair of these 520's, as a last resort I could use an adapter plate and use the puck on the bow unit where it is open. Thanks, the rookie. |

Location: Eau Claire, WI | Bruce, I built a bracket out of aluminum that works very well. It attaches to the unit using the gimbal bracket knob that screws into the unit. Keeps the whole unit portable. No need to attach a puck to the boat!
I have an extra one that I'd like to sell. $12 shipped. email me if interested and I'll send a photo of my 520 with the puck bracket.
If others are interested, I can build more.

Location: Eau Claire, WI | I should add that these brackets do not work for in-dash applications. |

| I should add that up front I have a MK PD55 and the bow light. I was thinking that I need to get the puck above these two not as to interfere with a signal. I may have to play around with the locale to get a good signal. Thanks Jono I will think on it, will let you know. |

| I read the reviews on this thing (gps adapter plate) and it is not as good as I thought. One could probably make a stand out of pvc pipe with a pair of flanges on each end. I love to build things. Made a frame of 3/4" pvc with 't's and '+'s to support the boat cover. I just had a thought..lookout...they offer a 'hood' in one of those catalogs this year, for your unit. One could mount the puck to the top of that.

| These used to come with the GPS Receiver. This will allow you to mount to the RAM or Shakespeare Antenna mounts.
