Here's some more topwater lures I finished up awhile ago, creepers& globes , thought I'd show them here first, these will be on the buy/sell board as well, I'll be swamped all week assembling lures, cant seem to find the time to finish a big run of custom wood swimbaits I've been working on for some time now, let me know what ya think

The Topwaters look great, I'm an aspiring bait builder and have taken quite a liking to your creepers. Have any tips on making them? They're great. Wouldn't change a thing.

Creepers are kind of a love/hate deal, especially when your hand cutting the majority of the metals, it's very tedious& time consuming, but very rewarding at the same time, this is what I mean when I say love/hate, tips, start out slow and basic, take your time , and it does'nt hurt to draw out some designs first, and onother major thing is wood density, make sure your useing a low resin wood, I have made creepers that i was so proud of only to have them end up sinking, I save those ones for verticle jigging in the late fall tipped w/ a pork rind-haha-just kidding, cedar or kiln dried white pine are generally what i use, never tried it, but bass wood also has the correct characteristics to make a good bouyant creeper, I guess bouyancy and material weight would be 2 of the biggest factors to consider , overly heavy wings and hardware can take away from the bait too, all in all, the sky is the limit as to how trick you want em' to be, hope some of this helps, oh yeah, I'll put a couple of pics of a dragonfly creeper I make.
