Location: Olathe< Kansas | I've done some search on the Daiwa Millionaire Cv-X 253A reel. Can't seem to find much info on it. How does the Daiwa Millionaire Cv-X 253A compare to the Daiwa Luna 300.
Thanks for all your Help!
Rick

| I believe the Luna is the replacement for the Millionaire reels. I have been using 253 and 300 Luna's the last few years and have been very happy with them. |

Location: midwest | The luna is a direct replacement for the millionaire cvz. Cvx's are a lesser quality reel with more plastic parts both internal and external. There is nothing wrong with either, but the luna will be a more durable reel in the long run. The other thing to keep in mind is you are comparing 2 different size reels. The 300 luna compares to a 6500 abu and a calcutta 400 for size and line capacity while the 253 cvx is closer to a 5500 abu size and a 250 calcutta. |

I found a used Daiwa Millionaire Cv-X 253A but I think I'll wait and get a new Luna 300.

Location: Davenport, IA | I have a couple CVX-253a's. I think they are 5 or 6 years old...0 problems. The only complaint I have on them is the drag. I added carbontex washers though and now they are great. |
