Subject: Chain Tournament is FULL - Details Inside

The 6th Annual Fox River Valley Challunge on the Chain is full.

The field of 125 teams has been filled. If you have submitted your entry form after 4/3/02 and cannot find your name on the list of starting positions on our web site, regretfully, we may be returning your entry. The rules for our tournament prevent us from exceeding 125 teams.

If you didn't get your entry in quick enough, you may not have missed out completely. We will have a standby list located at the tournament headquarters, McDermits Resort. We will start taking names at 5:00am for standby anglers on a first come first serve basis. Any pre-registered team that does not check in by 6:45AM will be removed from the starting lineup and that slot will become available for standby teams.

Additional details can be found on the chapter web site at:

www.frvmuskie.com

Thank you and good luck to the 125 teams!

O723:

I'm sorry you misunderstood my message. I have edited the original in hopes nobody else will do same. Please note that I had no intention of anything other then to let those know who may not know that this event is a fundraiser. I've had conversations with a few people who were unaware it was a fundraiser in part because of how big it has become. These people asked why first place was only $3000.

Please accept my apology for the misunderstanding.
