Location: Athens, Ohio | I jsut became the proud owner of one of Storm's hottest new baits. Then, I read on another muskie site where users are having trouble with the lips pulling out during fish fights, complaining about the lack of thru-wire construction.
I was hopin to use the bait tomorrow, has anyone really experienceed this problem? thanks for any info, m |

Location: Racine, Wi | Mikie, throw em dude. They work. I haven't had any problems yet with them, other than they get chewed to crap after a fish or two, but for 5 or 6 bucks, it's like using a sucker to me. You'll dig em. Don't be afraid to throw them at night either.

Location: Racine, Wi | So far, I've done just fine on them straight retieving them, using a couple of faster cranks here and there to "kick it out" once in a while. |

Location: Athens, Ohio | Gave one a try, after a morning of casting, the tail section is nearly torn away from the body. Don't think much of one-day-baits (now, one fish baits are OK). I'd better get some more Hawg Seekers glue and stitch this puppy back together. Geezsch! m |

| They're excellent baits. When you think you have enough in your box, get at least one more. As Joel said, straight cranking them is best. They aren't really good twitch baits, nor good pull/rip baits in my opinion. Swap out the little red hooks with something bigger. I use 4/0 Eagle Claw 774, but anything other than those red ones will work.
Cabelas has the best prices I've seen so far: $5.29 each I believe. The small 6" one is also a good throw back. |

Location: IN | The 6" ones are a disaster waiting to happen. Once the plastic piece inside cracks, which WILL happen, the bait is only being held together by the soft plastic body. A slight pull will separate the bait easily. |
