Guy's,
I have been out here in Montana working way to many hrs., and now confusion has set in....... ( Or is it the Blonde hair )
So here is the" DUMB" question of the week....... Is the opener on June 2nd or the next weekend???
I don't want to miss anything and I'm taking a couple of my kids to get their First Big Muskie.
Any one else going to be out on Vermilion ?
Thanks, Jerome |

Hey Sled,
I did mount a Cow catcher to the front of my Skeeter in order to "Push" my way onto the HOT spots...LOL...
Seriously, Last opener was real peaceful, We went out at 5:30am and didn't see another "muskie" boat untill around Noon.
Last summer was a bit crowed ( especially on the weekends) so I fished mainly the week days and found my own "New" spots that held some real tankers.
You need to adapt your tactics on crowed waters, some of those fish see 40-50 lures a day and some won't see a lure for a week. Vermilion is big water with alot of fish in unknown spots.
Adapt, Explore, and most of all have Fun and Make Memories.....

Location: minocqua, wi. | it is certainly a more "social" environment one state vs. the other. never forget a guy offering a beer, cheese and a cracker when in the midst of a floatilla of boats in redwing one winter sauger fishing. over here they'd start cussing your mother ... LOL |
