| My humble opinion is either the first two weeks of July or late fall. I think these are prime times to stick a pig!

| The first part of July and the Fall period are usually your best bet.Try and work your trip around the lunar phases to increase your chance at catching a big one.The first three days before or after the new moon or full are your prime times.

| I have been going up there the last four or five years around the second half of August, or the first half of September, and have had great success. My LOW fishing partner, Keith Eldrup of Llungen Lures, and I have gone about six or seven times during this time frame up to Monument Bay, and every trip either Keith or I have boated a 48" or bigger. It seems the pressure is off of the woods a little during this time frame, especially the first half of September, maybe cuz all of the kids are back in school. We don't run into many other muskie fisherman at that time, and that is pretty nice!!
