 | Took a buddy of mine out this afternoon in hopes of getting him hooked into his 1st ski...he is a minnow dunker (walleye fisherman) for the most part and has caught 2 ski's while fishing for walleyes but none with a musky rod and reel in his hand..so I figured I'd for sure get him at least one on a sucker as the sucker bite has been good...no such luck...not one single rip of the suckers all day...but at 5pm right around moonset and sunset he was casting his grandma twitching, jerking and pausing like a veteran when I saw and heard him go "uhhhhggg" right on the pause and set the hook like Superman...not a monster at the end of the line but the smile says it all...very cool to see a guy get his 1st ski! Made me realize how fortunate we all are to chase these crazy fish ....
Chad Niday from Oregon WI 34"er !! way to go Chad...I'll turn you into a musky nut yet! And if my calculations are correct Chads ski was the 100th over 30" in my boat this year....cool stuff....
