Posts: 32906 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | Gerrit's Lakeview Inn is hosting the 15th Annual Kevin Worrall Memorial Classic on Northern Wisconsin's Pelican Lake Saturday, September 9th, 2006. The KWMC benefits the Ronald McDonald House Charities, focused on helping families in need by providing affordable housing while their children are hospitalized. 100 teams will leave the docks at Lakeview Inn at 7 AM in search of the winning muskies and a first place check for $1250. Second place takes home $1000, third $750. The tournament pays down to 15th place, and the payout is based on a full field of 100 boats. Sponsors include Frabill, Tuffy Boats, Suick Lures, Violent Strike Lures, OutdoorsFIRST Media, and more to be announced this coming week. "Gerrits' Lakeview Inn is pleased to announce that the KWMC Tournament Director and Master of Ceremonies for the 2006 Tournament will be Steve Worrall. Steve was the Founder of the Kevin Worrall Memorial Classic in partnership with Barry Thiel of Lakeview Inn back in the very early 90's. We are proud to carry on the tradition of the original Classic, benefitting an important children's charity while sponsoring competition between some of the best Muskie anglers in the mid-west," said Gary Gerrits, co-owner of Gerrits' Lakeview Inn. There are currently a few openings for the event. The total field will be limited to 100 boats, and the entry fee is only $100 per team. There will be a 50/50 raffle as a portion of the benefit open to all, prizes, good food and drink, and a great atmosphere to enjoy a late summer Wisconsin Saturday on Pelican Lake. If you would like to join the competition, please call Gary at (715)487.5290. Entries will be accepted as late as Friday evening, the 8th. The KWMC is a non transport 'judge boat' event.

Posts: 32906 Location: Rhinelander, Wisconsin | If you have the weekend free and want to fish a one day enjoyable tournament, GET UP HERE! I have room for 4 if lambeau and his boat partner, Slamr and I are here, so lodging isn't an issue for at least that many folks. Bring your wallet; the benefit raffle will be a good one!
