| For you guys that crash the rocks with cranks, what baits hold up the best and produce the best for you? Which ones would you reconmmend for 3-4' and 6-8' ? Thanks for any advise. |

Location: ontario canada - Well Anderson Indiana now | Although I've never used one, those tuff shad cranks look perfect for bouncing off rocks. They have a big solid looking lip which could take the abuse I'd think. Can anybody with experience with tuff shads let me know how deep they run, I may need to get one.

| The new Nitros.
I can tell you one not to use........ bump one rock with a Crane bait and you're buying a new one.
My favorite vibration/twitch bait, but the don't hold up if you hit anything solid.
Use a metal lip, or one with a fat lexan lip. |

Location: Stevens Point, WI | Slammer's, original Depth and Shallow Raiders have held up well for me as well as Triple D's. Beav is right Cranes don't do rocks well, Ukko Wobblers are awesome baits too but they disintigrate after taking rocks alot. |

Location: Pittsburgh, pa | I troll my Wileys over huge rocks with no problem. I prefer the king size when I do this. If they get stuck under the lip of the rock, hit the free spool and they will float to the top. My brother just boated a fat 47" on sunday doing this with a Wiley Headshaker. The bigger the thump the better!!!!!! |
