Hi all,

Thought I'd reach out to the angling community for some guideance. I recently purchased a brand new LUND Pro-V with an Eagle premier trailer. The LED lights on the Eagle trailer were guaranteed for life!! LOL! Last week my amber side light "guaranteed for life" puked out on me. Eagle trailer company closed their doors about two weeks ago and filed for bankruptcy and I've not been able to contact anyone at Eagle to get a lead on where to go to find a replacement. These style of lights are not available at Bass Pro or Cabela's as I've already checked. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Thanks!

:)

Rich- My guess would be they adapted some semitrailer LED assemblies to their trailer application. You might try a local truck stop, a lot of the ones with a repair shop also have a parts shop.

Good Luck

Mr. Goomba most trailer companies get their components from a very small number of companies like Champion, UFP and Fulton/Webar. There are a bunch of different LED lights on the Champion site http://www.championtrailers.com/LED_LIGHTS.htm I'm sure one of them will fit. You may also want to talk to the guys at Wesbar as they provide light assemblies for many of the trailer/boat compaies. http://www.wesbar.com/

The boat dealer you bought your new boat from should warranty it, and take care of finding the lights. Let them worry about it!

Rich,
If the earlier answers do not help, call Steve Vogts at Frabill. His extension is 135. He just got a new Lund and I know it has the LED lights. I also know his trailer is a different brand than yours. He can at least tell you the brand of his trailer and another potential lead for your lights.
Good luck on fixing the problem. I would try to help you but I am off to Lac Seul early AM.
Hope all else is great with you and the family,

Rich...

If none of the above work call me direct on my cell 715-579-7463. I used to work as a sales manager in a related field and still have many connections (no punn intended.. ).

Local Napa, Car Quest, or Semi-Truck shop should have what you need. Most are either PM, Truk-lite, Federal Mogul, or Grote...

You will love the LED, no more bulbs to burn out, sealed (unless they fall out of the gromet and break) and super long life...

Rich- Thought about your message- "Last week my amber side light "guaranteed for life" puked out on me." With LED assemblies the only way this should happen is either an open + positive or open - negative feeding the assemblies. Sometimes they get cheap and don't run the negative wire, i.e., they use the trailer frame as the negative/ground. Check the mounting of the side light assembly, it may just be a loose contact..
