| i'm putting together a spinning rig for in my boat for when fishing with someone who's never used a baitcaster before.
i've got the reel, now just need a solid enough rod - i'm open to suggestions.
i'm willing to buy one, but prefer to trade a brand new (used 4 times) 6'6" Reed's Muskie Fever (med power, fast action) casting rod for a used st.croix spinning rod...PS66XHF or PS70HF.
anybody got anything they're not using anymore?

| when you find one please post what you found. i'd rather suck garbage off the sidewalk than use a baitcaster. i would also be interested in finding out what to look for. have a trip to eagle lake coming up in 6 weeks thanks |

| I also have a spinning rod rigged for muskie/pike fisherman/women that are unable to use a baitcaster and it works great. It is a St. Croix 6'6" SP66XHF and easily handles most baits excepting the big baits such as Amma Bamas, HR's, etc. |

| Go to www.stcroixrods.com and check out their saltwater in-shore series.
Thay have quite a few rods in the Tidemaster series that are great muskie sticks.
I don't think that you'll find anything to throw 3 or 4 ounce lures, but spinners, spinnerbaits, cranks and twitchbaits and of course Creatures can be handled by many of the rods in that series.
