Thought I would start an interesting thread as I sit inside looking at the frozen tundra that is Minnesota. I want to know what lakes you are hoping to visit in 2026? I will start:

1. Dryberry Lake - Looking to take a couple day canoe trips into the lake since camping for non-Canadian residents is not allowed.
2. Irregular Lake - Hoping that late September work will slow down and I can canoe to this remote lake in the Woodland Caribou Provincial Park.
3. Elk Lake - Not much discussion about this lake on the forum but one I'd like to try especially late in the fall!

I don’t really fish lakes but the Allegheny river and some tributaries that flow into the river are all on my list. Maybe my new bucket list should be breaking out the boat this year and hitting some.

I'm thinking of trying a different body of water in Canada. Something I've never fished! I have been to Eagle, Lac Suel, Minaki, LOTW - NW Angle and Witch Bay, Crow, and the French River. I am unsure where, but I would like to try something different I guess. Ottawa River or something further out East? Or a different part of LOTW? Or someplace like Cedar or Cliff? I have to do some homework and see if I can do it budget-wise but this is what I was thinking.

How the price of lodging in Canada?, we used to do real well in the early 2000's with the exchange rate. At that time lodging was cheaper then the U.S. of course gas cost more.

Now that I'm closer to Hayward there's a few lakes I haven't fished near there that are about a half hour away now. Making a 2nd trip to Eagle but a different part of the lake.
