| Fellas, any tips to open a "Master" lock on my boat trailer without the key? I won't be able to get a bolt cutter around it from the design and hoping someone is a locksmith out there or DIY'er that knows a trick or two to help. Is there a general master key or do these locks all have to be "picked" if no key available.
Appreciate the advice.
Thx |

| If there is anumber on the lock, a locksmith might be able to make a key.

| Take a die grinder and cut it off. I never understood locking a spare tire. Between losing / forgetting the key and the #*^@ thing rusting up they are more trouble than they are worth. |

| Not sure what a master lock spare tire lock looks like. I did have a “ locking” lug nut on my spare And somehow lost the special “key” that would fit the pattern on the end of the locking lug nut. I took it to an auto repair shop and the got it off. Tire store would also be a place to check |

| Can you get a pipe on it and bend it off? |

| Dremel w/carbon fiber cutoff wheel. You'll burn through at least one, but even if you cut halfway through a torch and a hammer will do the rest. |
