| They sure aren't starving, either! And I was thinking the same thing. Seems like an awfully short time frame for fish to grow that size. New(old) reservoir syndrome? |

Location: Ames, Iowa | Black Hawk used to be a real dirty lake. Lots of silted in areas and badly stirred up by all kinds of rough fish. Might have to get over there when I get the boat out. I think it has zebras, but anymore almost all lakes in Iowa do. Too bad about that. |

Honestly, they've been a godsend in Clear Lake just a little NE for the lake in this video. Clear lake used to be a swale with 6 inches visibility and absolutely no submerged vegetation, now during certain times of year there is 3+ feet of visibility and excellent weed growth. |

| Thanks for sharing he link. Pretty cool to see what can happen in 6 years. I might actually try for some walleyes again one of these days ?? Those few times you can cast shallow crankbaits for them and be successful is about the only time I'll go out of my way to target them. That and when I get invited, who turns down a fishing trip? |
