| Just curious. I never hear of anyone casting cranks such as headlocks, slammers, and other baits that seem to only be discussed as trolling baits. Has anyone ever casted and had success with such baits? If not, why not cast them? They seem to have excellent action. |

Location: SE, WI. | Oh! yA, love casting Slammers 7" deep diver. Especially where large rocks are present....also deep weed edges!!! Also ripping the 10" minnows over weeds / Rocks moves many fish....saw first hand from Slammer himself;) JD |

Location: Ludington, MI | Lots of people do this with DDDs. I'm sure it would work with others. Most people try to add heavier hooks to make the lure neutrally buoyant or at least slow the rise. |

| because it's almost like if you would fight a bass at each cast and there is a tons of better lures to use for casting that don't pull that hard. |
