You have to see this stuff. Number one is an extension handle for my Frabill. We lost a fish at the net the other day Matchfishing that would have been TOAST if we had this handle. Mark at Frabill brought this thing out to me, and I instantly said, " YES!!"

A new way to weight lures for you trollers, native to New York Walleye anglers, I am told. The weight brings a bucktail down about 1/3 the distance of the line let out at 2 to 3 MPH. 100' off the reel will get you down about 33'. You can put the weight as far ahead of the lure as you wish, like a snap weight. The cool thing is the way this threads on the line, and simply will slide down the line to the leader at the hookset. The ones I was given today weigh about three ounces, and allow for a fish to be netted without removal as snap weights require.

The extension handle clicks into the original handle in a hole under the grip. It works really well, too.

The weights are made by GIBBS according to the logo in the lead. Great idea, for sure. This will work for Salmon, too.

I would love an extention but may not have the room, my kwick kradle takes a lot of room as it is.

About those weights  Shhhhhhhhhhhh  I have been using these for years and I love the 3 oz ones to help keep a spinnerbait down in the propwash. The good thing about them is you can place them on your line at any time as well as anywhere you want from inches to yards from the lure. The way they work is the weight releases and slides down after you catch a fish.

I would love to find a retailer in Ontario, I can't even remember where I got mine from and I know I have but a couple left.
