Is the plastic used on the alpha pounders the same as the one used on 2 pounders?
I want to use the tails on the alpha pounders are replacements for the broken tailes on my 2 pounders but dont want to end up with a weird chemical reaction.

I believe all 2#ers are the old China rubber. Not sure if heating will work. I'd use a super glue. I've found the activator online for the super glue. You put super glue on anything your gluing tjen spray the activate and instantly hard. Hawg seeker use to sell it like 10 years ago but can still find online in places

They are both made of plastisol. Just use a lighter/small torch and lightly heat up until both surfaces just start to melt and then smash together and dip under water. Or use the Mend-It and let sit for 24 hours. One may be slightly harder/softer vs the other but you shoudl be able to attach both pcs.

NEVER HAD THE PATIENCE TO WAIT OVERNITE FOR THE GLUE TO SET AND HAD A FEW UGLY MELT JOBS,MINOR BURNS, AND GOT YELLED AT A COUPLE TIME WHEN HOT RUBBER DRIPPED ONTO THE FLOOR ON ME..
A COMBINATION OF MEND IT AND A FLAME WORKS REAL GOOD,QUICK,AND SOLID.
JUST PAINT THE MEND IT OR SIMILAR GLUE EVENLY ON BOTH SURFACES AS IF YOU WHERE GOING TO GLUE IT REGULARLY. TOUCH IT WITH A FLAME AND YOU WILL GET OVER BOTH SURFACES A SMALLER NOT AS HOT EVEN BLUE FLAME. GIVE IT JUST A SECOND ,BLOW IT OUT AND SICK TOGETHER.
