We always argue about what effect gearing does and doesn't have on a reel's performance, and that's why it got moved down there. The information about the reel is still there though and the thread hasn't been locked.

Yes with the SS High gearing. it will make a great reel to pickup slack line.

Notice he's not saying it will work great for dbl tens. I don't think it will, it doesn't seem as though these are designed to

I would love to see pics of the gears if anyone cares to take the time eventually. Even better would be a pic of those gears next another high-speed reel, preferably the Tranx since it has the same IPT.
