How do u guys use them? When you troll them do you take the front hook off? Any idea on depth for amount of line out while trolling? Also when casting shallow rivers from the bank do u take the front hook off? I just don't want to get hung up from the bank. I fished a new spot yesterday in really high muddy water and got bit but lost the fish. I wanna go back and I think this bait would be great there if I wouldn't stay hung up. Thanks.

Much like the Bondy Mod (see picture), we've had luck running just one treble on top right where you connect your snap.
You could also try running another, split-ringing a treble to the top at the hole furthest back and securing it in the rubber tail (assuming you have the rubber tail model) to keep it from fouling in the other by the snap.

Also, if you're worries about it running too deep, start with the snap on the furthest back hole. This will keep the bait up higher at slower speeds. Then you can move the snap up a hole as you figure out how deep it's running when fishing from shore.

Awesome baits for spring walleye (and spring/summer muskies).
