Only to the people who look at the picture and read the measurements and think "No WAY that fish was that big! I've never caught one that big. It must be BS, because if there was one that big out there, I would have caught it by now because I'm the best muskie fisherman ALIVE!! And since I lie about every fish I catch, whoever caught that one must be lying too!!" To the rest of us, it's kind of like a porn magazine. You look at the pictures and you think "Wow. That's better than any of the ones I've ever seen. Someday I hope to see one like that up close and personal!" ;-) To clarify my post wasn't towards those just enjoying the picture. It was towards the idiots that were deleted as my post went up. To those that say there is no negative talk on this thread, you simply missed it and it got deleted before you could see it. Mindless drivel has been posted by several internet police, and promptly removed.

And, by the way, here's your Metallica thread, look around before you assume things are gone; we have the Recycle Bin for this sort of topic, and it works! http://muskie.outdoorsfirst.com/board/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=53...

| When I grow up I want to be an internet expert. The guys bashing this fish and these dudes need to get a life. If they wanted you to see it they would have shown it to you. Instead it got out and people are hammering on these guys. What a joke!!!! How do you know the measurements on the other fish pictures that you are comparing to got it right? From the mouth of a very experienced guide and I am paraphrasing here.... It isn't uncommon to girth one of these really big fish mult. times and come up with different numbers every time. Not small amounts of difference either, we are talking 3-4" of difference. The guys released it!!!! What more can you want? Cracked me up at the time when people were bashing the MI state record and saying the pics were photo shopped and it wasn't real. Now this stuff for some reason is getting under my skin. I rarely if ever put up pics because of crap like this, but I just posted a couple. They are under the littlest fish thread. I even put the measurements there for everyone to argue about. To the guys that got this fish that is freaking awesome. Way to go on the release and I hope you get 100 more. You guys deserve it. | |||
