Looks like a J-Plug to me, popular salmon trolling lure in some parts. Google J-plugs. I think they are still popular in some Canadian waters, maybe still used in parts of the USA? I don't see them used much on the west coast.

It is an Alaskan Plug. Early ones were made by the the Alaska Tackle Company, Seattle , Washington. I believe Luhr Jensen may have made them more recently. John

Wonder how well they would work for musky? Right size and they look like they would move a ton of water.

I caught a couple muskies casting chrome J-Plugs ,,,, cast them out and reel them in at a steady medium retrieve rate ----- jimjimjim
