Location: Sheboygan, WI | Looking for some opioions...Has anyone tried the heavier pound test flourocarbon leaders (130# or higher) for a jerkbait leader...or is a single strand leader still the best for jerkbaits? Mark |

| I use 7 strand and flourocarbon leaders with gliders like the Phantom and Undertaker with good results. I hate single strand strand leaders for the simple fact that they get bent and kinked easily. |

Location: Knot on the WATER | we use 100# Fluro tying a loop knot to the jerk baits back to the line a swivel connection, phantoms perform a ton better with the loop Knot.

Location: Sheboygan, WI | Pete619....That the same reason I was thinking of using hvy flourocarbon....I have made my own single strand for many years...and never had a failure...but lots of bends & kinks when they seem to go nuts in the net. |

| I use stock 130lb and 150lb fluorocarbon leaders from Stealth Tackle for everything. Never had any issues or complaints when working jerkbaits.

try these titanium leaders and you'll never use anything else. i switch out the snap for a #5 stalock. never bend, kink, or wearout! i replace the snap when it gets shiny, i figure its time by then. |
