Location: oswego, il | Go out from the launch to you hit the break line, head south cutting the lake in half cast it. A few points twists and turns but you can fish it all the way around the basin. |

Location: Northern Illinois | Silver is a tough nut to crack for muskies. Have fished it a few times
but we prefer the Fox chain for more action. Buy an out of state license
& come on down & fish w/us FIBS. Have had a couple follows on silver, lost
one, & boated a small one. That's probably in about 20 trips there. Good luck. |

Location: Northern Illinois | State of Illinois needs the money. I buy WI. licenses as well to hunt & fish.....
sometimes you have to pay the price to chase the dream. Problem is there isn't
a lot of good musky lakes in this area. Have to drive a couple hours to get somewhere
and at that point, I say screw it & keep going further North. Fox Chain does have
good action though....I guess it's about how much you would use it in a season.
I like fishing on Silver Lake, it just hasn't produced much for me. Maybe some
others on here have had better luck out there? |
