I was doing very well on shad baits this weekend but once I ran out of 4 inch bodies I started missing fish on the 7 inch bodies and they were just biting my tails off. The jig heads I have just don't have a long enough shank on the hook. Anyone know of any good musky sized jig heads designed for big shad bodies?

FinTech Monster 15/0 more for the 7-9" rubber
FinTech Title Shot 8/0 5-7" rubber
Works well with skirts fishes clean and comes in a variety of weights. These hooks are stout and stay pinned. Running trailer hooks may help your nippers. You pay for what you get and these are the absolute best I've found. Good luck

Thanks for the tip. Sick of missing fish due to short hooks. Cost me a nice one yesterday.

Have you thought of just using a "stinger" as we call it here in Europe.

No I hadn't thought of that. Actually that's a much cheaper alternative to buying all new jig heads. you guys just use like 100 lb fluorocarbon to a treble or are you using heavier than that?
