Location: Twin Cities | I wouldn't fish Woman. Baby probably has highest number of fish, Wabedo for chance at a monster. Inguadona is another lake that is fun to fish. |

Location: Otsego, MN | Wabedo would be my number one. Check the water temps out that lake is kind of stained a warms quickly. I have drove there 2 times the past two years to find 80+ degree water and just left, when other lakes were in the mid to upper 70's.
My guess is after this week your going to have extreme water temps on the smaller lakes, I would hit leech. I know it's big and not about how big your boat is but you can always find somewhere to fish. Leech should get going good right now. |

Location: West of the metro, MN | Wabedo/ Little boy is your best option for a big fish in the Longville area. If your looking for numbers Baby is your lake, although it seems Mann puts out a little bigger fish than baby. |

Location: Ames, Iowa | Just got back from Leech. This year it will probably be my only week out, and it was a blast just to get out there gettin after it. Was on the lake a good part of yesterday and the previous 4 days. We hit all of the main lake spots fishing shallow- Red Rocks, North Bar, Pipe area, Battle point. Water looks great at 72-78 with less cabbage than I have seen in the past. We contacted zero muskies. I think that seeing the same results each day yet going shallow all over again is a bit of the definition of crazy, but the water just cried out for topwaters, jerkbaits and bucktails. Did a little trolling in the 11-14 ft. depths. Knowing that Wabedo is usually just as tough or tougher when Leech is tough kept us off there, along with the great weather we had on Leech. It was fun to fish even without hitting, and if I'm blessed to get back in September, I'll expect to do a lot better. |
